Otop’s Early Strike Gives Go Round FC Maximum Points

Oton Otop two minutes goal against visiting Abia FC on Sunday in Port Harcourt was what made  his first goal of the season give Go Round FC the deserved 1-0 win.
The goal caught all the players unsettled when Otop sneaked in behind the onrushing goalkeeper, Joshua Enaholo,who could do nothing about it.
Adelani Adeseun who tormented the visitors all game long with his dribble runs on the flanks could have scored in the 30th minute but after shielding the ball off his marker in the penalty area, goalkeeper, Enaholo stopped his shot when half the ground thought it had gone in.
The Warriors one good chance in the first half was in the 44th minute when Emeka Isaac shot wide from distance after finding space to strike.
Reacting after thé match  Coach of Abia Warriors, Emmanuel Deutsche has accepted the defeat in good faith.

Saying Go Round 1-0 win was à deserved victory. ‘But will go back home and assess the boys for the next match”.

We made a change and it was not a bad change. We changed Obi, not because he is a bad player but I do not know what happened to him today,” Emmanuel Deutsche said.

We got our early goal and tried to sustain the pressure. Abia Warriors are every good and a tactical team and mounted pressure but we were able to contain them.
We did all we could to contain the pressure and ensure the game ended 1-0,” Esor said.
