According to the faction, “we wish to state clearly that the court order, restraining the PDP National Working Committee, to re-conduct the Ward Congress, is a deliberate effort to correct bad precedence on the part of our great party.

The faction added  that  “no controversy, this is so, that the NWC can continue from the Local to State congresses as approved by December 9 2017 Convention Resolution. Nobody is above the law as Judiciary remains the only hope of the common people.”

It however emphasized in the statement that the “Faforiji-led faction of Osun PDP is peace-loving and has been making a lot of sacrifices for the love, peace and unity of our great Party.”
