As the tenure of Justice Olasehinde Kumuyi ends as the Chief Judge of Ondo state, the next most Senior Judge in the state judiciary is expected to be sworn in as the acting Chief Judge pending the recommendation of the National Judicial Council on the substantive Chief Judge.
Justice Osoba, the most senior judge in the state judiciary has been caught in age falsification saga. Justice Osuba who was born on the 20th of June, 1957 attended Bishop Phillips Grammar School, Ondo between 1963-1967, according to her resume at the registry, Ondo state Judicial Service Commission.
Information has it that the said school is not in existence in Ondo. Justice Osoba was alleged to have attended Fiwasaye Girls Grammar School decided to omit the school from her record in order to conceal her real age.
It has been also alleged that Justice Olasehinde Kumuyi who is in the know of all this, is hell bent that Justice Osoba succeeds him to cover his financial atrocities and corrupt practices in the last 6 years.
