Olive Otu Heart Foundation Opens Office In Calabar

The promise made by the coordinator of Little Olive Otu Gilbert Otu who died on the verge of flying her to India for a heart operation late last year, has yielded result.
Ifere Paul, a social and public affairs analyst who championed the campaign and awareness towards the donation to save the life of late Little Olive Gilbert Otu, had promised to use the N3.5 million realised to open an NGO in her honour.
Information made available to the New Nigerian Online in Calabar said “the Corporate Affairs Commission” (CAC) has approved a certificate of incorporation  for the effective and efficient operation of the NGO.
According to him, “the Olive Otu Heart Foundation” has opened an office at No.100 Murtala Mohmmed, Highway, in Calabar.
He said that the office shall soon be opened to members of the public in a date to be announced.
While commending the donors, contributors and partners over this wonderful achievement enjoined them to always be ready to bring hope to parents who are struggling to save the lives of their children.
Presently, “there are about 18 known cases of children living with different heart conditions that require immediate attention”, according records available”.
The Olive Otu Heart Foundation is an NGO in her honour to cater for the needs of little children struggling with different heart ailment in Cross River in particular and Nigeria in general.
