The Northern Reformation Initiative (NRI) announced that the recent statement from former President Olusegun Obasanjo on President Muhammadu Buhari would serve as a memo for adjustment to the present adminstration.
In a statement signed and distributed to newsmen in Kano by the association’s President, Alhaji Abubakar Adamu, Northern Reformation Initiative said it has fully studied the former president’s letter and gathered that it serves as a memo for adjustment so that Nigeria would be great and conducive for development.
Furthermore, according to the association, Obasanjo’s letter was written to encourage President Buhari’s administration in applying policies that would rapidly change the face of the nation especially now when Nigeria’s citizens are in need of real change at all levels.
In conclusion, NRI stated that it would continue to comment on issues that are vital for the country and called on leaders to always observe criticisms and memos in order to make corrections where possible.
