Following the recent pronouncements by the President Muhammadu Buhari to honour late acclaimed winner of the June 13, 1993 presidential election, Alhaji Moshood Abiola, Nigerians have continued to question the rationale behind his decisions.
Some are of the belief President Muhammadu Buhari might be trying to please the South West, knowing his relationship with the leader of the ruling party, Senator Bola Tinubu isn’t as cordial as it was when the administration came into power.
Mr. Radiant Michael a businessman in the state believe there’s no way he can cheat the South West after embarrassing the people.
According to him, ” Nigerians are no longer ignorant of the politics of the country.”
On his part, Mr. Ernest Osagie a teacher is of the opinion that to stop PMB is to stop complaining and ensure the procure their Permanent Voters Card.
“The only way to change this change is to vote widely. People like Tinubu, deserves respect, because they gave us the democracy we presently enjoy.”
It was shock when the gave Mr. President declared June 12 as national and democracy day and reactions have trailed that decision.
