Even though the Technical Session meeting cannot withdraw hosting rights, but it would recommend to the National Council of Sports to withdraw hosting rights of the National Sports Festival (NSF) awarded to Cross River State.

Sports creates employment more than any other sector in the country.
“The likes of Mikel Obi and others. It is my recommendations that we recommend that the hosting rights by Cross River be withdrawn and hosted by the FG in FCT.
Earlier, Enugu State blamed the Federal Ministry for allowing Cross River to hold the nation to ransom, also moving a motion for withdrawal, while bidding for hosting rights on behalf of South East .
Anambra State seconded, and suggested that henceforth, any state given hosted right, there should be a state ready on standby in case of disappointment.
Ebonyi State said that by not getting ready cross River has withdrawn from hosting tactically.
IMO State also said a straight action should be taken, while suggesting that the NSF be taken to the FCT, which should always be a standby host.
“I think we should not let this year waste again,” IMO representative said.
Abia State suggested that the Commissioner of Sports Cross River be given a chance to state if they are ready to host or not, before losing the bid.
Chairman Directors of Sports Forum, Mallam Tunde Kazeem, who is also the Director of Sports, Kwara State said that the Director Sports Cross River lacks the authority into state if they would still host or not.
” Lets await the commissioner of sports of Cross River to come and speak. My colleague is a civil servant and lacks the authority to speak.
