The Governor, represented by his Deputy, Mrs Yetunde Onanuga, said the State judiciary blaze the trail by introducing the laudable initiative aimed at engendering quick dispensation of justice to the people without the usual bottle-necks associated with litigation.

“One of the goals of the present administration in Ogun State  is the effective and efficient administration of justice, to this end, the State Government has never hesitated to lend its support as required in ensuring that the Judiciary is placed on an enviable pedestal. I commend this laudable achievement of the State judiciary and the partnership of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC), Abuja at re-positioning the justice administration sector in the State.’’ she added.

Speaking at the occasion, the State Chief Judge, Justice Olatokunbo Olopade, disclosed that the State judiciary was among the few that have complied with the directive of the National Judicial Policy to adopt the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanism into the court system.
