Mini Masters Basketball Clinic Dunks Off In Lagos

The second edition of the annual Mini-Masters Africa U-12  basketball clinic dunked off on Tuesday at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium, Lagos.
Coordinator of the championship, Joel Igie Adams explained that the clinic is being organised to teach kids the  basic principles of basketball as well as help in harnessing their potentials.
” We’re organising the clinic to enable kids have the chance of learning the basic principles of the slam and dunk game as well as encourage them develop their talents
“Some of the kids you see on the streets have great talents but when there is mp body to help them develop those talents, it dies with them and that’s why we are organising the clinic”, stated  Adams popularly known as ‘Mr  basketball’.
Adams while commending Engr Musa Kida’s led board of NBBF for it’s  efforts at repositioning the game in the country appealed for more corporate support for his pet project.
About 240 kids are participating in the week long event .At the end of the clinic, some of them would be selected to represent the country in the Mini basketball championship holding later on the year in Piaza, Matera, Italy.
