Manchok Festival Displays Rich Cultural Heritage Of Moro People – el-Rufai

Governor Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai of Kaduna State on Saturday  said that the government is working hard to ensure lives and property of its citizens are secured.

The Governor said this during Moro’s Annual Cultural Day Celebration with a theme, Socio-Economic Development of Southern Kaduna the role of Agricultural held at Township Square Manchok, Kaduna state.

He said, the occasion has provided a conducive opportunities to show the rich cultural and traditions of Moro’s people.

According to him, the people need a better land, the state government missions is to meet the need of the people.

He urged the people of Moro’a to promote their cultural values to demonstrate peace among themselves.

He  commended  the chiefs and people of Moro’a community for the peaceful atmosphere in making this year cultural festival come to a reality and urged them to support  the state and pray  for their community.

In a remark, the Deputy Governor of Kaduna state,  Architect Barnabas Bala Bantex commended the people for coming out in mass to support this year cultural festival day which was successful.

He prayed for journey mercy to various destinations.

According to Nuhu and his family who came to witness this year festival said Mora’s Cultural Festival Day is a day set aside to meet with friends, display their cultural values.

He said the festival bring about unity in diverse communities, it create mutual love  and understanding among people coming from various state.

The atmosphere was conduce filled with young and old people from different community while they display their cultures.
