Governor of Plateau State, Simon Bako Lalong has commiserated with families of distinguished sons and daughters of the state who lost their loved ones recently.
He conveyed the condolences in a statement signed by the Director, Press & Public Affairs, Samuel Emmanuel Nanle.
According to the statement, in his separate condolences to the families of Dame Pauline Tallen, over the loss of her husband Mishkoom John Tallen, Sen. Dr. John Nanzhip Shagaya on the demise of his wife and Late Alh Alhassan Sa’ed, the Deputy Chairman of the Plateau State Council of Ulamas who passed on to glory in Kano on Wednesday, the 5th of April, 2017.
The Governor described all the deceased as outstanding citizens of Plateau State, whose contribution to Good Governance and the Sustenance of Peace will be greatly missed.
He urged them to be comforted by the fact death is an inevitable end to all; he also prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased and for the fortitude to bear the loss to all members of their families.
