Lagelu Old Students To Adelabu: Despite Your Defeat, We Are Proud Of You

The, Lagelu Grammar School Old Boys Association (LAGSOBA)  on Wednesday lauded the All Progressives Congress ( APC) governorship candidate in Oyo state, Chief Adebayo Adelabu for putting up a good fight in the last Saturday’s governorship election.

Speaking through the National President of the Association, Professor Olufemi Omisore in a press statement signed by the LAGSOBA General Secretary, Mr. Wale Adeoye, said, “to us at Lagelu Grammar School, Ibadan, you have made us proud.

“You have undoubtedly re-defined Oyo State politics with the pattern with which you ran your campaign. You have shown to the whole world that truly, Lagelu Grammar School, Ibadan is “always the best”. We are indeed proud of you.””

Expressing  his joy on the good fight put fought by the All Progressives Congress gubernatorial candidate at rhe election won by the state’s governor elect,  EngineerSeyi Makinde of the Peoples Democratic Party,Engineer Omisore stressed that Chief Adelabu has proved himself as a good ambassador of Lagelu Grammar school.

“As our Chairman, Lagelu Grammar School Governing Board and distinguished old boy, we promise our loyalty and support to you in your future political career. Your unparalleled  contributions to the development of our great alma-mater will continue to speak for you,” Omisore said .

Appreciating  the leadership and members of the association’s political machinery put up to support your gubernatorial ambition – Bayo Adelabu Optimum Vanguard, for the positive roles played during the electioneering struggle, Professor Olufemi Omisore thanked  every member of the association for their efforts,

The National President while  appealing to the old students to bear the outcome of the election with gratitude to God Almighty”. urged them to be more united and look forward to a better future with hope,

“We pray God enable you with good and sound health to be able to serve humanity in the nearest future.”
