Democrat Comrade Charles Kutman, under the aegis of “Better Calabar South”, has lauded Senator Gershom Bassey for his legislative mastery in the National Assembly over the years which had positioned the Southern Senatorial District in Cross River state in a good light.

Kutman stated this in Calabar in an interview with the New Nigerian Online to appreciate why Senator Gershom Bassey should be given the opportunity to represent the zone come the 2019 general elections in the Senate.
According to him, “having represented the zone effectively, there is need for continuity till 2023 for a better Cross River state – Calabar South”.
His acceptance and continuity will usher people-oriented, transforming and sensitive legislation and (Bills and Motions) to the area.
He said “additional more three years will bring more goodies to the state as well as to the people of the Southern Senatorial District”.
“In more than three years his motions, have passed First Reading & Need Continuous Massive Support because of their Numerous benefits with multiplier effects for a Better Cross River, particularly Calabar South local government area
These include the Federal Polytechnics Establishment Bill for Akpabuyo as well as others
He described Senator Gershom Bassey as the “Eagle” which that will deliver the more sustainable dividends of democracy in Cross River state especially to the people of Calabar South come 2019 till 2023″.
He appealed to all members of the Peoples’ Democratic party to rally round Senator Gershom Bassey to see him through in the election.
