KTSG to recruit 600 Health Personnel

Katsina State Government is to recruit six hundred health personnel to improve on manpower requirement, while consultants would also be engaged for effective healthcare services in the state.
The State Governor is also directed the Ministry of Health to form a Management committee for the newly renovated Funtua general hospital.
Governor Aminu Bello Masari revealed this when he received a delegation from Funtua under the leadership of Ambassador Abdullahi Garba Aminci on a courtesy visit.
The Governor also directed that the committee should be headed by the former Deputy Governor Alhaji Abdullahi Aminci.
He also disclosed that tenders had been placed for procurement of modern machines to make the premier hospitals a reference for patients including well to do individuals.
Alhaji Aminu Masari applauded the delegation for the visit and assured of more efforts to improve on key sectors of life in the area and other parts of the state.
In his remark, the leader of the delegation from Funtua, Ambassador Abdullahi Aminci applauded the present administration for the general renovation of Funtua general hospital, schools and roads despite paucity of funds.
Ambassador Aminci disclosed that a plan to establish a School of Nursing in Funtua as well as the efforts to provide a Dry Port which would create job opportunities to the teaming youths in the state is in the pipeline.
