KTSG Tasks NAWOJ On Professionalism

Katsina State Government has urged the National Association of Women Journalist to be more active as Professionals.
Governor Aminu Bello Masari made the call when the officials of the State Chapter of the National Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ led by its chairperson Hajiya Hauwa Ibrahim El-Ladan paid him a courtesy visit.
According to the Governor, sacrifices are needed to promote those women holding positions under the current administration through their various mediums.
He promised to assist the association based on budgetary provisions to enable them promote their activities.
Earlier, the Chairperson of the association Hajiya Hauwa El-Ladan explained that the association was established to among others foster unity among women journalists.
She commended the Governor for promoting interest and welfare of women as well as for appointing five women into key positions of the state government.
The Chairperson however requested for financial take-off and an eighteen seater bus to promote the association’s activities within and outside the state.
