KDHA Gets New Clerk

The Kaduna State House of Assembly on Wednesday 8th, March, 2017 approved the appointment of Barrister Bello Zubairu Idris as the Substantive clerk to the legislative.
The confirmation followed the resignation of the former Clerk, Barrister Umma Hikima having been screened by the Assembly Service Commission pursuant to the provisions of the Kaduna State House of Assembly service Commission law, 2003.
The Speaker of the House, Alhaji Aminu Abdullahi Shagali who presided over the sitting directed the Acting Clerk to communicate the resolution of the House to the Assembly Commission.
The House also scheduled tomorrow Thursday March 9th, 2017 for the screening of Governor Nasir El-Rufai nominees for appointment into the governing Board of the Fiscal Responsibility Commission.
This followed a letter from the executive arm, addressed to the Speaker of the House requesting the legislators to screen and approve the nominees.
The Governor’s Nominees include, Ya’u Usman Kauru as chairman; Bitrus Bassahuwa Ahuwai Secretary; Aliyu Yahaya Sa’ad as member, Segun Onigbinde member, Sa’adat M.B. Mahmud member; Lawal Danladi member, Isa A. Shika member; Mary Luka member; and Christ A. Umar Member.
Similarly, three bills for laws that seek to established Kaduna State Roads Agency, Kaduna State Transport Regulatory Authority law and Kaduna State Roads Agency respectively has past the first reading on the floor of the House on Wednesday.
