A nineteen -member security committee has been inaugurated by the former Governor of Kano State,Alhaji Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso regarding his planned visit to Kano State on January 30th, 2018.
Gen AbduIrahman Bello Dambazau, Minister of Interior, is saddled with the responsibility to head the committee as Chairman while Dr Danyaro Ali Yakasai and Barrister Munir Dahiru are to serve as Vice Chairman and Secretary respectively.
It also includes Rtd. Colonel Usman Gur- Malam, Rtd. Air Commodore Salisu Yushau, Rtd. Major,Gen. Ahmad Tijjani Jibril, Rtd. Air Commodore Ali Bebeji, Rtd Air Commodore Zakari Baffa and Rtd AIG Bala Abdullahi. Others are； Rtd. CP Rabiu Mani, Rtd. Commander Kamilu Widil, Rtd. Commander Sarki Aliyu Daneji, Alhaji M.T Usman, Honourable Lawal Sale Gaya, Alh.Baba Umar, Alh. Tijjna Dambazau, Alh. Sanusi Surajo Kwankwaso, Alh. Adamu Garko and Alh. Muhammed Ado Dambatta.
Meanwhile, a member， Alhaji Sani Surajo Kwankwaso confirmed that the committee is determined to ensure peacefull event.
There are focarsted tendencies that the clash between Kwankwaso s supporters（Kwankwasiyya）and that of Governor Ganduje（Gandujiyya）may erupt during the visit.
The duo served as Governor and Deputy Governor respectively before their relationship turned sour.
