Communities at both rural and urban areas of Kano State have commended the state Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for providing adequate potable water to their localities despite the present economic challenges facing the country.
They made the commendation in a series of interviews with our correspondent who visited some of the areas, adding that water supply project is a very difficult programme, but governor Ganduje is trying his best in this sector which is a landmark of another achievement.
Malam Rabiu Tela Dungurawa, a tailor told New Nigerian that before the inception of Ganduje administration, there was no water in all the connected taps accross the town and other neighbouring areas, but now there is water everywhere and people of all categories are happy with what the governor is doing since he was elected in 2015.
Similarly, the councilor representing Gargari Ward in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area, Alhaji Abdullahi Yahaya Dungurawa disclosed that Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje is working day and night to make Kano a better state.
In Gwammaja Quarters, Kano metropolitan, most of the people that spoke to our correspondent said that water flows everywhere because the state government is gradually trying to overcome all obstacles that often retarded the water supply projects across Kano State.
