Kano North Development Forum Launched, Vows To Tackle Problems Affecting Area

Kano North Development Forum (KNDF), would work untiringly towards the rapid progress of the area and tackle some problems affecting Kano North which comprises 13 local government areas.

This was disclosed by the chairman of the forum, Alhaji (Dr) Wada Waziri Ibrahim, the Sa’in Kano, District Head of Makoda in his speech at the forum’s launching ceremony held at Audu Bako College of Agriculture, Dambatta on Saturday.

Dr. Wada Waziri disclosed that the Forum was established two years ago, where they concentrated on planning programmes and projects that will continue to be executed in the 13 local government areas that make up Kano North zone.

He assured that the forum is set to  commence projects that would benefit the people at present and for the forthcoming younger generations.

He announced that Kano North Development Forum was established by some patriotic persons of the area, and by those who wish Kano North well in order to bring everybody together  in putting  their helping hands towards the progress of the people of the zone with dedication.

Dr. Wada Waziri stressed that Kano North has everything needed for growth and development, and the existence of Kano North Development Forum will be an advantage  that will make things reality because  the association’s master plan was carefully designed by  experienced professionals in every field.

Commenting on the  areas that Kano Forum concentrates, Wada Waziri said that they will focuse on education, healthcare, agriculture, security and youth empowerment.

He called on all well meaning persons in the area to come out and contribute for the progress of Kano North under their respective arras of specialization.

The colourful ceremony was attended by the prominent persons from all the 13 local government areas in the zone that included the Dan Adalan Kano, Dr. Isyaku Umar Tofa, who is also the District head of Tofa, representative of the District head of Dambatta, representative of NCC Chairman, Professor Umar Dambatta, while water resources commissioner, Usman Riruwai served as  representative to the Kano State governor.

Similarly, the Forum’s calendar was launched where over one milion Naira was realized at the occasion with the highest donations coming from the Senator representing Kano North, Senator Barau Jibrin who donated five hundred Naira through his aide, Shitu Madaki Kunchi.
