Kaduna To Host National Handball Camps – HFN

Officials of the Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) on Tuesday gave Kaduna State  to host the camping of players of National Under-18 and Under 20 Male ahead of Handball Championship.

Haruna  Maigidasama, Secretary-General of the federation, said during an inspection visit to the Murtala Mohammed Square indoor and outdoor hall and also the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna.

He expressed satisfaction at the standard of facilities on ground.

” I am happy with the level of facilities on ground.

” We have checked all the facilities in other to have suitable planning for our players.

” I believe the players performance will be impressive during the qualifiers in Niger next month.

Also speaking, an official of the federation, and the Kaduna State Handball Chairman, Abubakar Ahmed said arrangements will be made for players to enjoy their stay in the state .

” Kaduna has the best facilities in the country and we are bringing players here so that we can get good results during the qualifiers.

He said the camp will last for three weeks and will end by March 24.

Also speaking, the Kaduna State Director of Sports, Ibrahim Yakubu assured the federation of the state support during the camp.

He said the state will rehabilitate all the facility needed for the camp before the commencement.

” We are happy with this development in the state and we are giving them accommodation free and technical crew to help in supervision.

“We will make sure we rehabilitate  all the facilities required for the athletes before the commencement of the Camp because it is already in our budget for this year.
