Kaduna Polo: Natanel Florens vows to become 2016 major sponsor

As a result of the success of the 2015 Kaduna International Polo Tournament, a real estate firm, Natanel Florens has vowed to bid for major sponsorship of the 2016 edition.
Chairman of Natanel Florens, Ambassador Abdulkadir Musafari dropped the hint in an interview with New Nigerian Sports at the closing ceremony of this year’s edition last weekend.
He said his company came in late for sponsorship this year and were only able to be a late mini sponsor, but would compete for major sponsorship with the traditional sponsors next year.
“We came in late because it was a good opportunity that we didn’t want to lose. We are attracted because we want to develop young people and ensure the standard of polo grows in Nigeria,” he added.
Musafari said that sponsorship for the game of Polo is not easy because horses are expensive and even their feeding is also very expensive, as such, there can never be too many sponsors when it comes to the game.
“Right now most of our business is in Lagos and Abuja, but we cannot overlook Kaduna Polo because of its importance in the calendar of the Nigeria Polo Federation,” he added.
