The Deputy Secretary, Kaduna State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Campaign organisation, Honourable Godfrey Gaiya, has assured supporters and members of the party that Honourable Isa Ashiru Kudan, their candidate would emerge winner of the match 8 gubernatorial Polks in the state.
He expressed this, while fielding questions from newsmen after over 1,000 support groups paid solidarity visit to Ashiru in Kaduna on Thursday.
“The fake result  from the presidential and National Assembly elections is not enough to dampen our resolve.
“We saw some short changing. Our numbers reduced, voters denied access and incompetent INEC staff disenfranchised our voters,” he said.
Speaking further, Gaiya, a former two-term member of the House of Representatives and the most dynamic Chairman House Committee on Sports ever,  assured the volunteers and groups across Kaduna State that despite the fraudulent election in Kaduna State they are determined to see that the story on March 9 is different from that of February 23.
He said with the support seen, they are 100 per cent sure of victory.
“If the last election was free and fair, it would have been different. There was a level of complacency and the groups are ready to see a difference and come March 9, it would be PDP all the way,” he added.
He therefore, charged them to come out enmasse and ensure the party’s victory.
Also speaking, Ambassador Prince Iheme of Mass Movement For Good Governance, one of the support groups, said that they converged to pay the solidarity visit because PDP remains the best alternative for Kaduna State.
“We the support groups deemed it fit to come out enmass to support Honourable Isa Ashiru and remind him to remain resolute and we are not looking back.
“Looking at what happened last Saturday, elections meant to end by 2pm began at 2pm in some areas that are PDP strongholds,” he added.
