The Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir el-Rufai during the official closing ceremony of 2019 Batch ‘A’ corps members deployed to Kaduna State promised to provide additional facilities to address the infrastructural challenges in the NYSC camp in the State.
Speaking on Tuesday at the permanent orientation camp, he also promised to upgrade and modernize the camp to meet the standards of the corps members.
He said that Kaduna State Government is ready to support the scheme to ensure full realization of its set goals and objectives, adding that the state government will continue to identify with the noble scheme and do all within limited resources available to it to provide more conductive environment for the scheme to carry out it’s mandate in the state.
The Governor who spoke through the Commissioner of Youth, Sports and Culture, Hpnourable Daniel Danauta, said to this end, that the government is expecting the corps members to reciprocate the gesture by working assiduously in contributing their quota towards socio economic development of Kaduna State.
Earlier, the State co-ordinator of NYSC Kaduna, Hajiya Walida Siddique Isa commended the Kaduna State Government for it contribution for the growth and development of the NYSC camp, adding that there is still needs a lot of things to be done to bring Black Gold orientation camp to desired level of development it required to accommodate the ever increasing corps population deployed to the state.
“We are optimistic that the next level of people oriented administration of our two terms Governor Malam Nasir el-Rufai will usher more infrastructural facilities to Black Gold Camp Kaduna State.”
