Bagadi community in Gimba Ward of Soba Local Government Area of Kaduna State has appealed to governor Nasir el-Rufai to construct their road in order to feel the impact of dividends of democracy.
Alhaji Idris Suleiman Bagadi made the appeal in an interview with journalists in Zaria, noting that the importance of the road cannot be quantified.
According to him, the road if constructed, will improve the living conditions of the entire people of the area economically.
Suleiman Bagadi said the people are predominantly farmers and the road will boost their agricultural production.
On the issue of crisis between herdsmen and farmers, the community leader called on the government and traditional leaders to find a lasting solution.
He advised both Fulani and farmers to respect each other by safeguarding themselves from any act that will trigger crisis between them.
Alhaji Idris advised Fulani to be good ambassadors of their culture and heritage they were known for as well as to stay away from all forms of social vices that are tarnishing Fulani’s image in the face of the public.
