Kaduna Central Senatorial Aspirant Vows To Empower Women, Youth

Kaduna Central Zone Senatorial Aspirant under the All Progressive Congress (APC) Hon. Usman Ibrahim has reeled out his campaign pledges to include empowering the youth and women whom he said  ‎were the most vulnerable of all people particularly in the hard times currently being experienced across the country.
He made the assertion at his APC Badarawa/Malali Ward ‎of Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone where he said he would establish Youths and Women Vocational Centres across the  Senatorial Zone when elected.
‎These centres according to Hon. Usman Ibrahim who was one time Interim Chairman of Kaduna North Local Government Area, would check mate growing poverty among Youths and Women whom he believed if properly taken care of the society would be free of joblessness related crimes such as kidnapping, prostitution and armed robbery.
“When I was interim Chairman within a spate of 18 months, I was able to train 20 youths who were given starter packs to enable them stand on their own from each of the 12 wards that made up Kaduna North making a total of 240 youths who are today proud owners of small scale vocations across kaduna state.
“These gesture ‎i was able to put in place while I was interim chairman, I intend to reciprocate same if elected Senator of kaduna Central Senatorial Zone”, Usman Ibrahim said.
Some of the actions plans the aspirant reeled out include; awarding scholarship to the less privileged, establishment of primary health care centres across Kaduna Central Zone, establishing constituency offices for continuous interaction within his zone among others.
“I believe power comes from God. Politics is not a desperate game of do or die, which is a vice that must be eschewed by all political players to have a lasting participatory democracy in our dear country”, he added.
Responding, the Ward Chairman, Yusuf Danmasani commended the aspirant for finding them worthy to be his first point of call in declaring his intent of vying for the Senate seat of the Zone, adding that the former Council chairman did so much for his people while he held sway as Boss of the kaduna north.
Danmasani said he and other Executive members of the ward would do all they can to ensure a sound and free level playing ground for all comes 2019.
