Senator representing Kaduna Central, Distinguished Senator Shehu Sani has described the protests which rocked the All Progressives Congress (APC) Kaduna State secretariat on Tuesday night against the disqualification of Malam Uba Sani from contesting against the incumbent as the handi work of frustrated politicians.
He expressed this in a statement signed by his SA Media, Abdulsamad Chima Amadi, made available on Tuesday night.
“However, the desperation by some candidates in zone two, who want to be senator by hook or crook have propelled them to hire thugs and send them to the streets. This is a total and disgraceful act that is aimed at tarnishing the image of our President Muhammadu Buhari and amiable party Chairman Com. Adams Oshiomhole,” he said
He said he received with dismay the reported thuggery that was perpetrated by sponsored hoodlums at the Kaduna State APC secretariat on Tuesday evening.
“It is rather unfortunate that some desperate politician who have been well known for the use of thugs have returned to their trade in stock. They sit in the comfort of their homes and send drug induced youths to the streets to do their dirty jobs for them.
” They have been doing this dastardly act against well respected APC members, it is rather unfortunate that they are not targeting  President Muhammadu Buhari and our party chairman Com. Adams Oshiomhole.
“Just like Sen Shehu Sani in zone 2, Suleiman Abdul Kwari was also the sole candidate in his zone.
“We call on all party faithfuls to stand up against these agents of destruction with PDP blood flowing in them.
“Senator Shehu Sani and his followers are law abiding and party faithfuls who will always support our President and the National leadership of our great party. Consequently, we call on the law enforcement agencies to fish out the perpetrators of this dastardly act and punish them accordingly.
“We wish to congratulate all aspirants that were successful in the screening and wish them well.”
