Jos Skirmishes Politically Motivated To Scuttle APC Primaries – Buhari Campaign Organisation

Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State
The National Coordinator of Buhari Campaign Organisation, Danladi Pasali on Friday said the attack around Rukuba road which claimed 11 lives and resulted in skirmishes in Jos North was politically motivated to disrupt the APC presidential primaries.
Pasali however said, this was not the first time, merchants of crisis have made attempts to cause a breakdown of law and order during important APC activities in the state.
“They did it during our convention where they created a scenario and attacked APC members irrespective of their religion in June so we are appealing to the Federal Government to assist the, state government in fishing out all the mischief makers who we know are members of the opposition.”
“There are some people that believe that the peace that has been successfully brought to Plateau by the governor must be truncated by all means. They can try but they will not succeed because even the primaries today witnessed a large turn out despite their intentions.”
He said massive turn out in today’s (Friday) primaries is an indication that the APC family believes in the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari adding that, “that tells you that we believe in him because of his achievements in peace and security, anti-corruption crusade, agricultural revolution and the way the committee of nations regard him as one of the best African leaders.”‎
