The Manager Yakubu Gowon Airport, Haipang, Mr Ayinla Gbolahan has received encomiums for renovation, rehabilitation of water tanker, including transportation and ambulance for wellbeing of staff .
The staff performance in the last one year earned him the commendation for his positive contribution to the development of Plateau State and its environs with outstanding leadership quality .
This commendation was issued during national retreat of members of the pen profession in Lagos after a one-week training of journalists on positive reporting of election and awareness campaign on fake news .
The online media practitioners congratulated the Airport Manager ,Mr Ayinla Gbolahan for focus and leadership style carrying his staff along in the area of management and building confidence in them.
A press statement signed by Yakubu Wuyep, made available to journalists revealed that the state chapter after their careful analysis of the manager, expressed satisfaction with the way and manner he has effectively moved the Airport to the level of flight resumption in Jos .

“Plateau indigenes have passed a vote of confidence on the leadership of Ayinla Gbolahan for putting the immediate host community into consideration in developmental strides.
The completion of runway light improvement facility to accommodate other flights and the request to make the Yakubu Gowon Airport to an international airport, was also one of the critical issues they emphasised on,” the statement explained.
