In its continued effort to improve service delivery, Kaduna Electric has partnered with First City Monument Bank (FCMB) to ease bills payment for customers.

The partnership which kicks off in Kaduna will be eventually rolled out in Kaduna Electric’s other franchise states of Sokoto, Zamfara and Kebbi.
By this arrangement, FCMB collection agents will be deployed to different locations within Kaduna where they will be collecting payments for electricity bills from customers and promptly issuing them receipts.

According to Kaduna Electric’s Chief Marketing and Customer Services Officer, Murtala Bello, the decision to partner with the foremost bank was in order to enhance better efficiency in the company’s collection process to avoid undue losses.
He added that the ever growing population of electricity consumers in Kaduna state and the need to adequately account for the energy consumed by all electricity users in the state, also informed the decision to engage the bank and deploy more collection agents to complement Kaduna Electric’s staff.

He said that customers have the option of paying to either Kaduna Electric staff or the bank’s collection agents and called on customers to ensure they are issued receipts for every payment made.
He urged the public to cooperate with both Kaduna Electric marketing and sales staff and the FCMB agents in settling their bills when due in order to ensure better services from the company.
