A non-governmental organisation, Inclusive Community Education And Development ( ICEADA) would bring out more important programmes for the benefit the people of all categories and to boost self-reliance especially at present when the government cannot tackle everything alone.
This was disclosed by Professor Muhammed Bello Shitu, who is also the co-ordinator of the project in an interview with our correspondent in his office.

He added that all the forthcoming programmes initiated by ICEADA would add value to the livelihood of the teaming populace in the association’s catchment areas through Youth For Healthy Community Initiative (Y4HC-Project).
Professor M.B.Shitu stressed that ICEADA has been working day and night in order to bring out more strategies that would ease the rural and urban settlements in the communities.

He announced that last year, 16 communities that were extracted from 11 LGA’s of Kano State participated in the organisation’s economic empowerment programmes and from what is seen at present, the programme is rapidly changing the livelihood of the participants which is another achievement.
Similarly, Professor Shitu hinted that in this year, 2018, more communities would be included in the empowerment programmes of the organisation, while the number of participating communities has been increased to expand the quotas.

He said that according to the analysis, increasing the number of participants will bring more progress to households that were extracted for the programme, calling on the general public to support ICEADA for more befiting initiatives.
In conclusion, Professor Shitu announced that ICEADA would host Y4HC-Project, where 16 communities from 11 LGA’s would benefit, scheduled to take place on February 27th at the institute of youth development, Sani Abaha Youth Centre, Kano, where it would also flag-off the year 2018 programmes for speedy take off.
