Zamfara State Governor, Alhaji Abdul’Aziz Yari Abubakar has retreated his determination not to compromise quality in all projects in the state to ensure that the people enjoy maximum benefits of the projects.
A statement issued by the Director Press Affairs, Aminu Ibrahim Gusau said the measure is to ensure that all the Multi billion Naira projects embarked upon by the state government are done strictly based on specifications.
Yari gave the assurance in Talata Mafara during a routine inspection visit to the ongoing 14.2 km Talata Mafara bypass road project and others in the state.
The governor added that his administration will continue to provide needed physical infrastructures to broaden the economic scope of the state.
Yari charged the contractors handling the projects to ensure timely completion and ordered the supervisory ministries to ensure adherence to the contractual agreements.
“I am determined to ensure that all the projects are completed and commissioned in May, he assured.
Other ongoing projects visited by Yari includes renovation and expansion of 350 bed Farida General Hospital, Gusau, expansion of Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital Gusau with 96 bed capacity, operational theater and intensive care unit, 23klm Gusau Eastern and Western bypass road.
