Group Begs Kaduna Govt To Eradicate Street Begging

Deputy Governor-Elect of Kaduna State, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, on Friday received a memo from the National Union of Akawar da Bara movement to eradicate street begging in Kaduna.

The Deputy Governor-Elect of Kaduna State, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, on Friday  received a memo from the National Union of Akawar da Bara Movement  to eradicate street begging in Kaduna.

Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, received them at Sir Kashim Ibrahim House in Kaduna.

Dr. Hadiza who welcomed the youth, expressed her gratitude to them, adding that  the message will be delivered to the Governor Nasir el-Rufai.

She said that, “Street begging is a serious issue that needs to be tackled towards eradicating it in our midst and the  Governor is working hard to end street begging in the state.”

She commended their efforts and pledged to pass the message to  the state and subsequently all Northern States of the country.
