Give Your Children Western Education, Islamic Cleric Tells Parents

Parents and guardians have been called upon to give all the necessary  support in educating their children from the grassroots for best academic performance in both Islamic and Western education.
This was expressed by a reknowned Islamic scholar in Kano, Sheikh Sidi Musa  Qasumuni Nasir Kabara (mai Ashafa), in his remarks at the Qur’anic graduation ceremony of 16 pupils at “Madrasatul Nurul Dinil Islam”  Gudau in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area on Sunday.
Sheikh mai Ashafa stated that young ones need good and sound  education from the grassroots, and as beginners, they also deserve parental support and encouragement in order to make excellent advancement in furthering their studies anywhere.
He then commended the school’s management for giving quality education to younger generations despite many challenges, and urged the parents and guardians to give more co-operation to the school authority and pray for the wellbeing of Nigeria.
Earlier n his welcome address, the school’s headmaster, Malam Sani Idris Gudau disclosed that the school was established with few pupils but there are over 600 students of  both gender  memorising the holy Qur’an in the school today.
He called on  well meaning citizens to assist the school with building materials in order to  move into it’s permanent site because they are now in a temporary places.
Mlam Sani Gudau commended  Kano State  Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for his concern to the education sector and assured that his school would continue to graduate best students with good discipline despite all challenges.
The graduants numbering 16 expressed their happiness with the school and thanked their parents for encouraging them to get full Qur’anic knowledge especially at present when the education sector is in need of more consideration from all angles.
