Kano State Governor, Dr. Adullahi Umar Ganduje has been commended for supporting nomadic education accross the state which serves as a tool for development and good livelihood to the herdsmen as seen in different locations.
The commendation was made by the national president, Billital Marobe Pastoraliat association (BILMPAN), Alhaji Ali Muhammad Rimin Dako in a chat with our correspondent on nomadic education.
He pointed out that the Kano State Government under the Ganduje administration is trying to see that Fulani herdsmen acquire both Islamic and western education in order to be good ambassadors wherever they lived.
Similarly, Ali Rimin Dako stressed that quality nomadic education is another channel to bring peace and unity between the herdsmen and farmers as well as other citizens living in various settlements where he called on other state governors to consider nomadic education as an important factor in influencing development in every sector.
The BILMPAN national president added that his association was working hard to see that there is cordial relationship between herdsmen and farmers as well as other people living together, which remains the task of the association, and called on Kano State Government to establish an agency for nomadic education for effective service delivery in the state’s nomadic schools.
