The Integra Leadership Foundation (ILF) has commenced Community based Advocacy for Good Governance campaign in Origbo-Meje, Ife North Local Government Area of Osun State.
The Director General of ILF, Comrade Bode Oladitan who led the
Committee on Grassroots Coalition & Engagement to Origbo_Meje said,
the purpose of coalitions are to build grassroots organizations.
He noted that supporting the political leadership campaign and the political candidates is one of the major contribution of the organisation towards building a great and a better Nigeria.
According to him, the intent is to make the group partner with the  core political Leadership campaigns, rather that  trying to make them part of the campaign team.
This, he said, is done, so that various Groups across the state, apart from the group’s standby members that the campaign wants to partner with are approached before  announcing political candidacy.
He observed that nothing kills a coalition’s work faster than candidate’s dishonesty, incompetence, bad record and bad leadership among others.
Oladitan therefore remarked that it is the aim of ILF to present the best for the leadership of Osun state by the coming guber election and the 2019 general elections.
His words, “that is why ILF as a Leadership organization, finds it necessary to contact groups for Osun state and the entire Nigeria leadership hierarchy.
At ILF, he said “we see Coalition building as an important part of any local campaign’s strategy, which is an effective tool for quick building of grassroots candidate support.
He therefore urged members to keep the good work of the organisation and continue to be a leader to be followed.
