Emir Of Kontagora Expresses Concerns Over Rising Insecurity

Sarkin Sudan Kontagora, (the Emir of Kontagora) Alhaji Sa’idu Namaska has expressed concerns over rising security challenges in his dormain and elsewhere across the state and beyond just as he tasked citizens to be more conscious of activities of unscrupulous persons.

The Emir noted that security challenges were fast becoming an everyday affair even as comfirmed that most citizens were now living in perpetual fear as life was becoming brutishly unsafe.

The traditional ruler spoke in his palace in Kontagora while turbaning Sa’idu Abdullahi as the new Dan Massanin Kontagora.

Saidu Abdullahi is the Accountant General of Niger state government.

He tasked citizens in his emirate to be deligent and watchful at all times even as he cautioned them against accepting all manner of persons or hosting unknown persons in their abodes in trying to be good good neighbours.

The Sarkin Sudan Kontagora also admonished his subjects against night travels, unnecessary journeys and traversing areas and such routes that are dark spots as known havens for criminal elements such as kidnappers, armed robbers and other bandits.

The Emir called on his subjects to be vigilant, security conscious and proactive in reporting suspicious persons to the nearest authority for prompt action to nib in the bud such unsavory volatilities.

He appealed to parents to put an eye on their children and wards just as he warned against compromise by parents saying that criminalities were perpetrated by persons not spirits.

The new Dan Massanin Kontagora, Sa’idu Abdullahi, while commending the traditional ruler for the honour done to him, reaffirmed his loyalty to the Emir just as he expressed commitment to the development and growth of the Kontagora emirate.

The Dan Massanin Kontagora is the Accountant General of Niger State Government and he is an indigene of the emirate.

He assured the traditional ruler and his council executives that he would not do anything that could undermine the Kontagora traditional institution or impinge on its long years of history, values and culture.
