Governor Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai of Kaduna state, on Thursday received some students sponsored by the Kaduna State Government to study Medicine on Scholarship in Cuba.
The students were in Government House as part of the steps to bridge the manpower gap in the health sector.
Kaduna State Government resolved to sponsor 30 students to Uganda and 30 to Cuba to study medicine.
The Governor urged the students departing Nigeria Thursday night to study hard and be good ambassadors of Kaduna State and Nigeria.
