Kaduna State Government, led by Governor Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai has distributed 107 brand new motorcycles to the 23 Local Governments Education Authorities in the state.
The motorcycles given are meant to facilitate effective monitoring and supervision of teaching and learning in public primary and junior secondary schools across the entire state.
The gesture is also meant to reduce transport difficulties, to ensure smooth monitoring of the performance of school staff and improve teaching and the teaching environment.
El-Rufai, poised at providing quality education to children in the state has worked tirelessly on his administration and would continue to improve access to quality education across the state.
The Kaduna State Government, who’s supporting Kaduna State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) for its initiatives which would go a long way to actualising some of the objectives of the
state government on education in Kaduna State.
The Chairman Kaduna State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Nasiru Umar, handed over 107 motorcycles to the acting Education Secretaries to further distribute to inspectors in their Local Government Aress.
He said Kaduna State aims at providing quality education for Kaduna citizens, hence the education reforms being spearheaded by the Government.
Umar said the gesture was aimed at improving the standard of education and boosting the number of teachers in the state’s primary schools.
“The motorcycles would no doubt help in the inspection and effective supervision of our schools,” he said.
