Governor Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai of Kaduna State, has approved the reconstitution of the board of the Kaduna State Water Corporation.
The 14-member board is to be chaired by Dr. Ishaku Shekarau.
This was expressed in a statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Governor el-Rufai, Samuel Aruwan, on Friday.
The statement from the Governor’s Office named the other members of the board as, Engineer. Aliyu Ibn Shehu, MD/CEO of the Water Corporation, Hajiya Hajara Yahaya Tanko, Engineer Ahmed Yahaya, Alhaji Bala Abdulwahab, Comrade Cecilia Musa, Ahmed Dalhat Umar, Aisha Galadima, Luka K. Shamang.
“The following institutions will also be represented on the board, the Ministry of Water Resources, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, and, the Kaduna State Consumer Protection Council,” the statement said.
