Governor Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai of Kaduna State has been appointed to Oxford University’s Africa Board of African Studies Centre at University of Oxford.
The African Studies Centre, University of Oxford is set to inaugurate its newly-constituted International Advisory Board on the 12th of October 2018.
The nine-member board has been set up to guide the centre on policy and relationships with African governments, institutions and businesses.
The African Studies Centres International Advisory Board will be formally inaugurated by the Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo (SAN), who will also deliver a lecture at the event.
The board chairperson, Mr Tito Mboweni, is the first black South African to lead the South African Reserve Bank and Minister of Labour in President Nelson Mandela’s cabinet from 1994 to 1998.
Governor Nasir el-Rufai, a Quantity Surveyor, Management Consultant and current Governor of Kaduna State, Nigeria, would be inaugurated with other members of the International Advisory Board on the 12th of October, 2018.
