The Olubadan pointed out that with the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan fasting, Muslim faithful should not allow the end of the glorious month of Ramadan deter them from doing good works.
According to Oba Adetunji, “Ramadan teaches abstinence, not only from food and drinks in broad daylight but also from wilful commission of sins at all times”, saying, ” in the month of Ramadan, people tend to share and care more with each other, attending and listening to lectures that deepen our understanding and relationship with Almighty Allah.”

The Olubadan then lauded the non-muslims, particularly the Christians for supporting and sponsoring Ramadan programme out of respect for their muslim brothers, saying, “such gesture must not go unmentioned in our determination to curb religious extremism.”
Emphasizing the need for Nigerians to celebrate in peace and live in harmony, Oba Adetunji prayed for the understanding and wisdom of God to rest upon the nation’s President, Muhammadu Buhari and indeed all our leaders at various levels of government.
