Kaduna Central Senatorial Aspirant, Hon Usman Ibrahim has extended his Sallah message to Muslims on this auspicious festival, urging them to always maintain the tempo of teaching of love and unity learnt during the Ramadan.
In a Sallah message signed by him and distributed to newsmen in Kaduna, he called on all and sundry to seize the blessings of the season and pray for oneness of Nigeria.
“It is necessary for those of us who were lucky to live to see the Eld-el-Fitr of this year to be grateful to Allah and fear Allah who is the custodian of life here and thereafter.
“It is also important to remind ourselves that many of those we celebrated the Sallah together last year where no more with us as they have been recalled by their creator.
“The month of Ramadan is intended to teach us how to live good and compassionate lives. It is a month of sacrifice, abstinence and above all, love. In that respect, I encourage us to be our neighbour’s keeper. Look out for your neighbour in the firm belief that he too will look out for you”, he said.
He also urged that Muslims Ummah should intensify prayer for peaceful coexistence among Nigerians.
The former Kaduna North Chairman called on Nigerians to continue supporting President Muhammadu Buhari and Mallam Nasir El-Rufai in thier struggle to repositioning the country and Kaduna State respectively.
