The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) has concluded arrangement for the commissioning of its Kaduna office and the lunching of “Women Against Corruption” for the North West zone.
Chairman of the commission Ibrahim Magu disclosed this when he paid a courtesy visit on the emir of Zazzau Alhaji Shehu Idris in his palace in Zaria City on Monday.
He said the commissioning of the office and the lunching of the Women Against Corruption (WAG) will hold on the 30th March 2017.
Mr. Magu appealed to the Emir to enlighten his subjects on the importance attached to the fight against corruption in Nigeria which done very harm to the socioeconomic development of our dear nation.
According to him he was in the palace to have a royal blessing from His Highness.
The EFCC boss said, the project which is about to be launched is for every one particularly the civil servants.
Responding the Emir of Zazzau Alhaji Shehu Idris said the fight against corruption by the present administration has succeeded in many ways which reduced the corruption activities drastically.
Emir Idris commended the Judiciary and civil servants for their effort in support to the campaign against corruption.
He assured the commission of his emirate support and cooperation towards achieving the set goals that establish the commission.
Alh. Shehu Idris commended the women for organizing themselves to execute the project aimed at fighting corruption at all level.
