EFCC: Court Remands Jang In Prison

The Plateau State High Court 5, has remanded Senator Jonah Jang, in Jos prison.

The court presided over by Justice Daniel Longji, in a suit against the former governor and Yusuf Gyang Pam, brought before it by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), ruled that the accused have to be remanded in Jos prison, for him to rule on the two applications for bail, till next week Thursday.
The EFCC, arraigned Senator Jang and Pam, at Wednesday’s proceedings on 12 count charges of alleged fraud of N6.3bn, alleged to have been stolen by the accused two months before he vacated office in 2015.
 
Justice Longji, having heard the argument by lawyers, he adjourned the matter for ruling till Thursday 24, May 2018.
 
The court premises was put under tight secutity.
