Democratic Alternative Plots To Take Over Delta Govt House In 2019

The Delta State Chairman of Democratic Alternative Party (DA) Hon Johnbull Okoro has said that all necessary arrangements are on ground to revive, re-energize and reposition the party at all levels from units through wards to local government levels with a view to win elective positions and take over government House come 2019 general elections in the State.
Hon Okoro stated this in Ughelli while briefing newsmen on activities of restructuring the party to take over power from the ruling party in the state. He said that the party excos in the state are working effectively to ensure that good working internal democracy is used to select candidates
that would fly the party’s flag higher in the forthcoming general elections.
According to him, “We are working round the clock to ensure that the party comes victorious in all election and will be transparent in the process of choosing candidates that would fly our party flag in the forthcoming general elections. We want credible people and not candidates that would just make campaign promises. I urge Deltans to embrace DA as a political party that will deliver
dividends of democracy to the people”.
He also urged all party stalwarts across the state to work effectively for the success of the party in all nooks and crannies of the state just as he urge Deltans to take the on-going voters registration serious noting that, “With your Permanent Voters Card (PVC), you can exercise your right as a Nigerian”.
