Dambatta students under the umbrella of National Association of Dambatta Dtudents (NADS) has honoured Hajiya Alpha Abdu Usman for her contribution towards the development of education in the area over the years.
The colourful ceremony was held with education stakeholders of the area in attendance, where the association described Hajiya Alpha as one of the woman who contributes to the education of students of all categories.
Similarly, the newly elected president of the association, Comrade Hassan Musa Umar announced that the association decided to honour Hajiya Alpha Dambatta for the relevant assistance that she offered towards the development of education in Dambatta Local Government Area at all levels, calling on the other well meaning people of the area to emulate what she is doing in the field of education.
Responding, Hajuya Alpha Abdu Usman disclosed that: “This award has certainly encouraged me in my efforts towards the development of education especially in my catchment area, and I wish to express my gratitude to the Dambatta students for recognizing my contributions to the education sector and more support is on the way because everybody is a stakeholder in the educational sector.”
