Customer Drags Zenith Bank To Court, Claims N36.5m Damages

A High Court 1 sitting at Dogarawa Zaria has adjourned the case between  Patience Sa’idu Samuel and Ladidi Maimuna  Beiki a former manager with Zenith Bank, Zenith Bank and Managing Director of Zenith Bank to 30th July, 2018 for hearing. .
Adjourning the case, Justice  Mannir Ladan ordered the counsel to the defendants to put his house in  order before the adjourned date.
The case was before the  court for claiming damages to the  tune of N36.5m for the stress she went through following the  Police arrest and the invitation by the ICPC for questioning.
 In an interview with  the counsel  to the plaintiff, Barrister Umar Sama’ila, he said that his client has a bank account  with  Zenith Bank and one Ladidi Maimuna Beiki the then Manager at the Zenith  Bank, Zaria branch used the account  of his client and withdrew the sum of N33m at different  times without  the consent  of the account owner.
When contacted for his comments on the matter,  the counsel to the defendant, Barrister  Yusuf  Ajibade said he was  not going to comment, since the case is still in court.
