A Federal High Court in Lagos will on 27th April, 2018 rule on the bail application of Senator Peter Nwaoboshi.
Nwaoboshi who represents Delta North Federal Constituency in the Senate is being prosecuted by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for conspiracy and money laundering charges.
He was arraigned together with two firms, namely: Golden Touch Construction Project Ltd and Suiming Electricals Limited.
The trial judge, Justice Mohammed Idris, in his ruling at the previous appearance of the defendants ordered that the senator should be reminded in Ikoyi prison custody.
The defendants are facing a two-count charge, including the purchase of Guinea House at Marine Road, Apapa in Lagos State at a cost of 805 million Naira allegedly got from fraudulent deals.
Nwaoboshi pleaded not guilty to crimes which he was accused of committing between May and June, 2014.
