The Federal High court sitting in Katsina has adjourned the case of former Katsina State Governor Ibrahim Shehu Shema to thirteen of June this year for continuation of hearing.
The Court similarly granted bail to the former Governor who was in detention in the office of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)..
The presiding Judge of the Court, Justice Babagana Ashigar who announced the adjournment also gave out the conditions of bail granted to Ibrahim Shema.
The conditions include deposition of the suspected international passport before the court, self recognition and the fact that another Court has earlier granted bail to the suspect and bail condition to be maintained as provided by the Nigerian constitution.
Justice Babagana Ashigar said that the prosecution counsel would commence presentation of witness on the adjourned date.
The former Governor is standing trial on twenty six count charges bordering on fraud and money laundering to the tune of six point seven billion Naira SURE-P funds.
