The wife of Kaduna State Governor, Architect Hadiza Isma el-Rufai on Monday appealed to the women in the state to come out enmass and vote in Saturday’s governorship elections.

She appreciated all the people of the state for coming out to vote for APC in the last elections, saying that, the coming election is for governorship and state House of Assembly, “I urge you all come out and vote,” she said.
She thanked the women who welcomed her during the last campaign to the local government areas visited, while she prayed God will reward them abundantly.
According to her, Kaduna State Government is women friendly as more women will be involved in governance, citing that this government have 14 commissioners among which five are women.
“Therefore, I urged you to come out and cast your votes,” she said.
She called on her fellow women to vote in peace, noting that if there’s no peace, there will be no progress in the state.
Hadiza frowned at people going round with fake news on Social Media or Twitter adding that people should disregard fake news and people propagating hate messages.
“Everyone has a right to vote fir whomever he or she wants,” she stressed.
She added that, “Some people want to divide us. Rwanda is a good example of killings from hate speech. We must not allow what happened there to happen in our state and Nigeria at large, everyone has right to vote in their choice,” she said.
Hadiza warned, “don’t allow religions to divide us, we should vote for whomever we believe that will delivere the dividends of democracy to the state,” she concluded..
